Bukisa Update - Freelance Article Pay

In one week on Bukisa, I've managed to earn half of the required amount for payout.

Payout can be reached at 50 dollars and all that's needed are articles, slideshows, or videos.

The site seems to be well run and the editing options are easy to use. If they do turn out to be legitimate then now would be a good time for you to get some articles on the site to get some long-tail and pasive income.

The Bukisa Index is still showing $3.95 per 1000 views.

Visit Bukisa.com for more information.

Work for UserTesting

The most recent site mentioned to join was Bukisa.com and today I bring you a new site that pays you $10 per site.

The idea is to visit a site given to you by UserTesting and watch how you browse the site. It will record, through their own software, how you browse the site with your mouse while recording your verbal opinions of the site as you visit it.

It takes about 10 minutes of browsing and commenting to complete the requirements per site and then answering 4 standard question. If you fit the target demographics then you should get about 5 sites per week equaling $50 per week.

Visit Usertesting.com for more details and a signup link.

This is an easy opportunity to do at home and has been recognized by Amazon as a finalist in their Start-Up Challenge.

KgbKgb Updates

Many users who have followed the links in past and have applied for kgb kgb have started to receive their promotional T-Shirts for the site.

If they're sending out promotional materials then it would seem plans are still going forward.

KgbKgb will start their launch in a week. At least that's what I hope.

Bukisa - Bukisa Index : Views needed to get paid

I mentioned Bukisa the other day as an alternative to eHow. It allows you to post your content (Articles, Videos, Slides, Audio, and soon Photos) and get paid their daily impression rate. Also, you are allowed to promote your own websites if you have any. (Make you own website now to get some residual income from ads!!)

The article submission process is easy and you are allowed to submit your own content that has already been published again to their site.

The Bukisa index is currently $3.95 per 1000 page views.

With no referrals it would only take 12,658 page impression to get paid. You are allowed to promote your articles on MySpace, Facebook, Digg, and others.

Get started writing for Bukisa now and get paid while the rate is so high.

Beware of Vindale

First off, Vindale is not a scam.

Vindale is an online survey site that requires you to pay for a service (often a monthly recurring fee) and then evaluate the service. Your first month or trial period for the service being evaluated is paid for along with a few dollars for your time. Make sure you cancel your trial membership that you had to join or you will face these recurring charges.

Vindale has a generally bad reputation noted by many users and forums discussing surveys. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for something free to do, you can try legitimate paid surveys that have already been outlined on the site and don't require you pay anything to get rewarded.

Why should you have to pay to give your opinion?

HowHub

As promised, here is the secon part of look at some global alternatives to eHow.

HowHub link

Similar to eHow in writing style as you are again writing how-to articles. If you want to get paid then you should have your own Adsense account. I am not sure how they do this but they claim to pay you  %50 percent of the ad revenue that your page generates and you are allowed to insert your own Adsense ads. I think that having your own code on the post would guarantee that you get all the Adsense revenue. Regardless, supplement your Adsense revenue with the site and promote your main blog or website as you are allowed to link to your site from your article.

The links to your own website will likely be just as valuable as the revenue you generate on HowHub.

Bukisa - Bukisa Index

Part 1 of Global eHow alternatives.

Bukisa.com - Referral Link, Bukisa.com otherwise.

Bukisa is a revenue sharing website where you can write articles, add pictures, videos, slideshows and audio and receive an amount per thousand views in line with the "Bukisa Index".

You can publish new articles or old content on the site and get paid for your page impressions. The impressions pay based on the Bukina Index which is set monthly. The Bukisa Index is updated at least once per month based upon the overall performance of our websites revenue streams - this involves the following: Contextual advertising, Banner advertising, email marketing, joint ventures and more. It would seem that it's a collective effort; if the site succeeds then every one will benefit.

What is the Bukisa Index rate? The Bukisa Index is currently - $3.95

Pay is via PayPal with a $50 threshold with payments promised 30 days after the end of the month.

It also appears that you do not retain control of any material that you post on the site, a dealbreaker for many.

Disclaimer: I have not yet been paid by Bukisa and only seen a few testimonials that they have paid. The site is only 2-3 months old.

eHow Global Alternatives

Schan Ezan brought up a great point in the post on writing for eHow and how to make money. eHow does not pay users outside of the USA and Schan Ezan posted some alternatives. I will look into these alternatives, post payment rates, how to join, and other relevant details in the coming days. In the mean time here is what he submitted:

Other similar site for those who are not in the United States are such as
HowHub, HubPages, Helium and Bukisa.

HowHub and HubPages income are through adsense. I don't know much about
Helium. Bukisa should be similar to eHow, only its domain PR is not as
strong.

Thanks for the information, I'll add to it shortly.

If anyone else has tips, please post a comment and I'll be sure to add it the main page along with a link to your site.

mTruk - What is it and how do I make moolah?

mTurk = Amazon's system known as Mechanical Turk, an online worker and employer marketplace. All work is done through mturk.

Turk? = The definition of turk as found on pcmag.com is "The name comes from Wolfgang von Kempelen's mechanical "Turk" in the mid-1700s, which was an expert chess player dressed up as a wooden mannequin. Defeating challengers throughout Europe, including Napoleon, the Turk sat inside a wooden cabinet wearing a robe and turban. Opening the door to reveal gears and springs inside, Kempelen fooled people into believing this was a mechanical device with artificial intelligence. "

MTurk lists small tasks that need to be accomplished and allows users to take those task, complete them, and pay them the rate advertised. All of these jobs are listed as HIT or Human Intelligence Tasks.

Tasks can include; finding light posts in a photo, transcribing, translating, rating search results, finding item numbers, contact numbers, and much more.

Pay is not a huge amount but tasks are small and quick to finish allowing you to accomplish many. There are also incentives for quantity and quality of work. Pay can be deposited into your bank account or into an amazon.com gift certificate.

Interested? Visit www.mturk.com for more information and FAQs on the site.

Do you use mturk, leave your tips and feedback in the comments.

Do you have a sultry voice?

This job (and post) is not for everyone. These are tips and leads for finding Phone Sex Operator jobs (Try a Search for PSO to see all the options).

Adult industry jobs do not appeal to many people as they associate them with creating porn or acting for a webcam. PSO's work from home, set their own hours, and collect a decent portion of the per minute charge that the 'customers' have to pay. It is also possible to converse with people through text messages. You do not have your information or phone number exposed as a third party (the employer) so there are safety measures in place to protect you.

If you have an open mind and would like to make some money from one the World's largest industries then give this lead a serious thought.

I will not post specific companies. Visit Textilicious for great resources, frank discussions, and active job leads.
